Working on long-term goals and gradually growing brings both happiness as well as fulfillment to our lives.
When we want something, we normally want it now not in some distant future. If we have a problem, we want it to be solved as soon as possible and we don’t want to wait for a long time.
But if we get into the habit of making everything in our lives as urgent, we will be forced to accept a low quality of life. High-quality life is only possible when you work on some long-term goals and you work on them consistently.
If you are sick, you have a long way to get healthy, and a strong and quick fix such as strong medicine will do you more harm than do you good.
A quick fix is only good when there is an emergency and you have no choice but to take it temporarily until you get a chance to get back to normal and on the track of gradual growth. A healthy and strong body is possible only by regular exercise, hygiene, eating and drinking healthy food and drink for a long enough time until your body takes its ideal shape and strength.
But remember that gradual growth doesn’t mean not having a deadline for your tasks. It’s actually the opposite. Relaxing and finishing a task whenever you feel like it, is not the habit of long-term thinkers but the ones who prefer to do the hard work of today another day so they indulge in some leisure. And for them, tomorrow never comes.
Gradual growth means you work hard on some long-term goals every day while you are patient and don’t expect the fruit of your hard work today.
Hurry up on doing your routine as soon as and as well as possible but stay patient for the result which will come to serve you exponentially.
