“A great man is hard on himself. A small man is hard on others.” Confucius

Blaming others for the mess around you is not what a good leader does.

An influential leader has long put behind the bad habit of complaining and blaming others for his mess and takes full responsibility for what happens in his organization/department.

It is easy to avoid when there is a mess and offer reasons to prove that it was not your fault. But a strong leader doesn’t go with the easy way. A leader who has built a strong character over time steps up, takes full responsibility and corrects what went wrong with the support of his loyal team.
