It is normal to make mistakes. All successful people make them. The more innovative and the bigger your goals are, the more mistakes you are prone to make. It is often not the mistakes that lead us to failure but it is the attitude toward these mistakes.

If after every mistake, you get agitated and angry at yourself, this leads to a loss in self-confidence, frustration, and loss of hope for the future. With such an attitude, every mistake sits heavily on you and makes going forward more and more difficult.

On the other hand, if you see mistakes as simply an essential part of the journey toward your destination, every time you make a mistake, you quickly learn something from it and before you know it you are far away from it.

You might still make mistakes of course, but with a positive attitude and a clear and learning mind, you reduce making the same or similar mistakes. You grow the wisdom to see mistakes as an essential part of the process of innovation and change.

Don’t be bothered if you’ve made mistakes, and even you can let yourself to be proud of. But be bothered if you are hesitant to take action because you are afraid you might make mistakes. The first is the attitude of the great winners while the latter is what those who never have done much in their lives have in common.
